This is the newest version of the genius board, a fun and creative way to learn the guitar fretboard.
Part of the Fun with Three Strings 3 Minutes and a Triad series.
Today we have the E Major chord of the board. It’s a simple triad containing the notes E, G# and B.
E is Red for the Root of the chord, G3 is Yellow – the Major 3rd, and B is Blue the 5th. See below for entire reference for all 7 scale degrees. The system is simple and flexible, it can be used over almost any type of scale or chord.
This version of the board introduces the Chakra or Rainbow color code system for the notes of the guitar.
