What is It?

The “Circle of Infinite Imagination” is a tool designed to simplify music creation by providing a selection of chords that are naturally harmonious. It helps users pick chords that will always sound good together, eliminating guesswork.

It also reveals some of the notes and chords that are “Out of Key” but can still sound interesting.

How It Works

• Chord Selection: Gives you a smorgasbord of delicious and harmonious chords to choose from in any key. Both basic chords and advanced chords.
• Notes for Your Melody: The notes of the scale which can be used for melody, lead lines, riffs and more are spelled out for you with the rainbow colors.
• Deeper Variations: The modes are also there if you want to explore new harmonic moods.
• If You Don’t Have a Circle of Infinite Imagination: You can always just look at pictures of it, or use one of many chords apps available.

Programming Chords

Using software like Logic Pro, you can input selected chords to create music. Visual aids within the software show the chords as they play, providing a clear representation of your composition. The session players inside of Logic Pro will play the chords that you input. There’s a drummer, keyboards player and a bassist. They can play the tune for you, or you can jam along with them. You can even just replace what they are playing with your own original stuff. Creativity has no limits!
