Free Help For Caregivers Of Elders

Caring for an elderly parent often means trying to keep up with a lot at once:

medications, vitamins, supplements, side effects, sleep, hydration, balance, falls, confusion, changing symptoms, doctor visits, pharmacy questions, and information coming from different places.

That is exactly why we are offering Safety PassportRx.

Safety PassportRx is a free public-service program supported by the Graham Johnson Cultural Arts Endowment (GJCAE) to help individuals and caregivers better organize medication and health information and prepare clearer questions for doctors and pharmacists.

It may help caregivers:

• organize prescription medicines, over-the-counter products, vitamins, herbs, and supplements
• keep track of timing, recent medication changes, and symptoms
• notice possible concerns worth discussing
• pay attention to issues such as dizziness, fatigue, falls, confusion, sleep changes, hydration, and daily functioning
• prepare better questions for doctors, specialists, and pharmacists
• create a clearer picture of what is really happening at home

Safety PassportRx does not diagnose, prescribe, or replace medical care.
Its purpose is to help caregivers and families become better informed, more organized, and better prepared.

There is no charge to try the service.
