Here\u2019s a fun twist: pick a random inspiration. Open your favorite news app or website and write about the first thing you see. Turn on the TV or radio, or even look at your emails. The idea is to get creative with whatever pops up first. I planned to go to the park, a perfect place to spark creativity with its sunshine, trees, and fresh air. With my phone in hand, I checked the Huffington Post and saw an article about climate change. Instantly inspired, I began jotting down lyrics on the spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s dig into the magic of planning ahead. By setting your intention the night before, your subconscious mind starts working on it while you sleep. Your brain waves in dream state can brew up some fantastic ideas. Equipped with these tools, I wrote a few verses. Then, I used another creative tip: phoning a friend. Sharing my progress with her sparked new ideas, helping me to complete several verses that morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-6c531013 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p>For the technical side, I used Band-in-a-Box, a classic piece of music software that&#8217;s been around since before we could record audio on computers.
