All the basic chords, Major chords, minor chords, diminished chords, suspended chords, all have just three notes. And don&#8217;t forget about Augmented chords. 3 note chords are also known as triads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you locate a simple 3 note chord on the guitar fretboard, ,you can use those notes to anchor your playing.
