Add Bingo Fun To Your Corporate Sales & Marketing Meetings

Corporate sales training, employee team building and motivation does not have to be in a sterile environment.   Enjoy learning and working together topped off by some fun times playing bingo and rewarding your team with special prizes.  Bingo is not only fun but can be a team sharing experience and excites the adrenalin when "only 1 number to get and I win" moments are constant.   The fun of the times with the people you work with are entertaining and enjoyable.  Partial proceeds benefit the charity, GJCAE.

The GJCAE has created and financed the promotion of the entry into the international America In Bloom contest to recognize Wake Forest, N.C. as one of the most beautfiul, livable towns in America.

Through the use of the Google Adwords grant the GJCAE is using some of the advertising spend to promote Wake Forest's entry in the competition.    See video below contributed by videographer, Jeff Yentzer, to the effort.   The beauty of Wake Forest and the Wake Forest HerbFest.

This excellent video, The Lake Of Spinning Fire,  was entered into YouTube competition by Chris Mathews and he and his colleagues chose to donate any prize money to the Graham Johnson Cultural Arts Endowment.

The GJCAE is so very proud of the great work of former Franklin Academy students in continuing their arts programming.   We are very greatful to all involved including former media arts teacher, Lori Mahaley.

Science Excitement at Franklin Academy

The first grade students at Franklin Academy II campus were recently treated to some Awesome Science Fun!    Laboratory Larry with Mad Science® delivered a one of a kind, very hands-on science experience introducing the children to a world of discovery and sparking their imaginations.

They got to explore the three states of matter by becoming atoms.  They built a giant bubbling potion and even carbonated plain drinking water into a lemonade delight!

First Grade teacher, Jennifer London shared, “It was so fun watching the excitement in the room!  The students really learned a lot and we enjoyed the presentation!”

Mad Science Workshops encourage scientific literacy in children at an age when science is as vital as reading, writing and arithmetic.

Franklin Academy is able to offer cultural experience to our students through a grant from the United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County, Inc, with funds from the North Carolina Arts Council, a state agency, and Wake County Government and the Wake County Public School System.  Generous funding for Artists in the Schools program at Franklin Academy is provided through generous grants from the Franklin Academy Founder, Bob Luddy.  Additional support is realized through a grant from the Graham Johnson Cultural Arts Endowment (GJCAE) a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization whose purpose is to develop, promote and coordinate the arts and cultural experiences for the community of Wake Forest as well as North Carolina.  GJCAE seeks to foster a sense of inclusiveness within our community, connect our communities and schools and to encourage participation in the arts by all members of the community.

We are grateful for the opportunity to have this learning experience for our students.
